AG display at my library

We went to the library today. In the kid's room, they have a glass display case that has some sort of rotating display. Amanda said, "Look, Mom, American Girl!" I don't know if it's one of the pre-teens who works at the library, or a student who did it for a project, but she had dolls in there, some outfits, and the books that go with the dolls.

We saw Kailey in her wetsuit with lots of her accessories, including Sandy (who is so cute and much bigger than I thought!); Felicity in her blue ball gown; Kit and her dog (Grace??); Marisol in her spotlight outfit; and the AGOT with brown hair, bangs and blue eyes.

We were at our library last week and they also had an AG display. It was Felicity and Samantha in a glass case in the children's department.

DD was really excited to see it, since we were there to check out some AG books so she could earn stars through the club!

I have been asked to put mine on display but declined because I no longer trust the lock on the Children's display case at my local library I have had things stolen from it twice before. I would love to do it though some time.

I saw a Kit doll sitting on top of a shelf with a bunch of stuffed animals at a city library once (there are SO many) and she looked pretty ignored! It wasn't a display but it was very cute and exciting to see!

Two of our local libraries have display cases that you can display your collections.

I've been wanting to display our AGs, but I'm afraid something would happen to them.
